The location was perfect. Within minutes you were in the middle of all of the action. I also liked that it was very quiet. The size of the room was awesome considering we were 3 people. Plenty of room to spread out. Simone (at the front desk) was helpful with getting us transportation to the airport. Very nice experience.

The entrance! When you first walk into the building you think you made some kind of a mistake. It seems like an abandoned building. Eventually when you go up the elevator there is a door that leads to the rooms. Once you enter those doors, you breath a sigh of relief! Bathroom is small.

Perfect location for visiting all the sites of Rome in a nice area at a reasonable price. No noise from traffic which is a blessing in Rome. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast simple in a cafe opposite hotel but acceptable.

    The location is good.

The review of 8.8 is totally overrated. I cannot understand how it got to have this score. I feel mislead as we chose based on the score and the pictures which also make the place appear better than it actually is. The building entrance is horrible and smelly. The lift is ancient and feels unsafe.. The 'residenza' is really just a flat turned into a b&b. The room we got had no privacy and we heard everything from the corridor and beyond. There was a list of dos and don'ts at check-in. Towels are changed every three days and linen every five days and if requested before that time there is a charge. Our room overlooked a neglected dark courtyard. The bathroom was tiny and the shower even more so. It was almost impossible to move inside. The water was shut off for half an hour just when I was about to take a shower and I later got a bucket just in case i needed it. The floor are cheap laminate and really bad at absorbing sounds. There was a persistent smell in our room that reminded me of pesticides. The ac was good but it's location wasn't. We had originally booked four days but when I asked if it was possible to shorten our stay because the room was not what I expected I had to pay extra. Breakfast is served at a nearby cafe and consists of coffee, juice and a croissant. The service was slow and reluctant. The second day of our stay they were out of croissants and they offered cake but there was much fuss when we wanted to order something else and pay for it.

Not really a "hotel" but a residence in the heart of Rome. The room's size was pretty big and the staff was very helpful.

We didn't really like the entrance of the block of flats where the residence was situated in. It was like getting into an abandoned building but the residence had nothing to do with it! (The residence was located on the first floor)

The hotel at first seems to be bad for their entry into a building where other people live. After entering visualize a floor with several rooms and a small recepcao.Os comfortable rooms with air conditioning and wonderful, the bathroom was spacious but the water pressure is not good.O Not much more beyond the location of the hotel are its staff including Simone and her housekeeper Carmen they are great.we love our stay in this hotel and come back some day if possible

The look of the main entrance is not good and breakfast that very simply and served in a bar across the rua.A Pressure shower is bad.Mas not much even with these items is worth staying at this hotel due to the advantages described above

The location was near to the things we wanted to see.

We could have had someone there in the office to give us some adbice so we didn't need to splend so much money on taxis. A box of tissues in the bathroom would have been nice to have

Emails were answered quickly prior to our visit. Simone arranged for relaible transportation from and to the airport (we left on a Sunday). Staff was very friendly and helpful. We were able to get into our room earlier than the posted check-in time which was ideal! The room was very very clean. Residenza was located a very short distance from Piazza Navona and walking distance to all attractions around Rome. I was visiting with my two teens and the accomodations were perfect for us. Very casual, comfortable and welcoming...We could come and go as we pleased. Rarely saw any of the other guests which made it more loke our own place. Internet a plus. Entry hall didn't bother us. the kids thought it felt like we were going up to our own apartment in the city. They thought it was cool. Area was very safe. We loved it!! I would definitely go back the Residenza Ponte Sant'Angelo!!

Only draw back was no hot water the night before we left and I let it run forever-had to take a sponge bath :( Also, the shower in our room was literally 2' X 3' in size. The bidet is an unneeded luxury as a bigger shower stall would be more practical.

Central and charming location, frindly staff, nice breakfast. Small room though.

There was a small gas leak in our room...

Staff was very friendly, the location was very close to every major sight and the room was very clean.

The room was extremely small and way too expensive for what you are getting. It was noisy. The shower is probably the smallest shower i have ever seen! Also, the pictures on Booked.net are misleading and representative.

    Staff, cleanliness and location

The room was dark (not nice view from windows). Bed was too hard.

Price and proximity to Vatican. It a good central position and convenient to many of the sight seeing features

The entrance hall lets the place down. First impressions are important and our first impression was "what kind of a place have we booked into" It scared us to go in and were fearfull of what we would find -- aLL because of the impressioon created by the entrance hall. Thank god our fears were unfounded as the rooms were pleasing and clean

This tiny but elegant hotel just 10 min walk off piazza navona was the best surprise of our trip!clean, furnished with simple still elegant style, quiet so you can enjoy a good rest still too convenient for nightlife!we definitely recommend it especially to young people who can't afford expensive hotels!stuff was kind, helpful and smiling all the time!:-D

I guess that the only point to be improved is the issue of breakfast, since there is no breakfast room in the hotel and the nearby cafe that cooperates for free serves Italian kind of breakfast.not bad,but a bit unfamiliar to us:$

The breakfast served out of the Hotel and it's not good. Only a tea or coffe with a cacke.

The location was great. We felt like we were far from tourists and embedded with the locals.

    Small shower, but that's it

Excellent stay, very good hotel, extremely friendly and helpful staff, very well located. Will definitely return again.
